ABOUT VECTOR MMA

We are a martial arts & fitness gym located in Stellenbosch, founded in 2018. We specialise in Mixed Martial Arts training and competition. Other programs available are Kickboxing and Boxing-Fitness. Each program has a different element of technical skill, fitness development and overall fun! Come for your trial class to find out which one will fit you best.

At Vector MMA we focus on each individual for personal growth and physical development. Improvement is guaranteed!

The inspiration to our name is suited to the nature of the business as well as our goals for the future:

The perfect combination of stand up fighting and grappling techniques.

Training is structured to allow beginners to get a feel of what the big picture is in our sport while also pushing the experienced fighter to improve overall fight IQ. We provide the opportunity to compete in amateur competitions and hopefully be able to walk the road to glory and finally start a pro career!

Kickboxing

Learn the most technical aspects of striking and defence on your feet. We have a good group of athletes, pushing each other to improve every week. You will be received and taken care of like family. We only expect the same respect in return.

Also includes sparring so get yourself a mouth guard if you’re serious!

Boxing-Fitness

The best way to have fun while improving your fitness and learn real boxing skills!

ABOUT OUR TRAINER

Erik Coetzee

MMA & Kickbox Fitness Trainer
I specialise in kickboxing and grappling and have experience in Muy Thai and K1. I have also done Jiu-Jitsu tournaments and I’m trained in wrestling. Classes are presented by me personally, meaning I can give a lot of one on one attention to all my students to make sure everyone keeps up with our programme. Please don’t be shy to come try out martial arts. Any beginners can do kickbox fitness and the more experienced people can join the MMA program. We do sparring once a week to stay sharp.
